Please Join Us in Fighting Hunger in the DC Metro Area.

We are so excited to share with you some upcoming events and would love for you to join us and support the Capital Area Food Bank!

The Tanenholz team is proud to be part of the 2017 Capital Area Food Bank’s Food from the Bar Campaign!  Each year, the Capital Area Food Bank feeds 540,000 people in the Washington metro area through a network of 444 food assistance partners. The food bank distributes 42 million pounds of food annually, of which one-third is fresh fruits and vegetables.

For every $10 donated, the Capital Area Food Bank can provide 25 meals to local children, seniors and families in need. Ninety-two cents of every dollar raised is spent where it matters most: food distribution, transportation and hunger-relief programs.

There are three ways you can help:

#1: Thursday, May 11, 2017 : Volunteer with us at the Capital Area Food Bank.

Join us at the Capital Area Food Bank to volunteer from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. We can all meet at our offices downtown and shuttle up to the food bank together.  We have limited spots available so please RSVP quickly by sending an email to Candace at

#2: Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 6 p.m.: We invite you to a Wine Tasting Fundraiser.

Join us at our offices for a Wine Tasting fundraiser.  We will have three wine stations with four wines to taste at each station.   We hope you will decide you must go home with a few bottles — 20% of all proceeds from wines purchased will go to the CAFB’s Food from the Bar campaign.

Spacing is limited so first come first serve!  Please RSVP by sending an email to Candace at

#3: From now until June 2, 2017 : Go to our Fundraising Page and Give to the Food Bank.

Please visit our fundraising page and donate now.
Thank you in advance for your support of the Food Bank!
